Does TLDR upload my content?
No. Your documents, extracted text, summaries, and audio stay on your device. TLDR does not upload your content to our servers.
Do you collect any data?
We collect minimal app analytics and crash reports to improve reliability. We do not collect your documents, extracted text, summaries, or audio.
Does TLDR work offline?
Yes — core features work offline.
Troubleshooting
My summary looks wrong
Summaries can occasionally miss context or details. For anything important, verify against the original. If you spot a consistent issue, email us with:

OCR didn’t capture the text correctly
Try:

brighter lighting

straighter photo (less angle)

higher resolution / less blur

crop to just the text area
The app is slow or stuck

Data & deletion
How do I delete my TLDR data?
To remove everything, delete the app from your device.
If you use iCloud backup/storage for app data, you can also remove TLDR’s stored data from:
iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → TLDR → Delete Data
